A small, soft, monitor-mounted light that you control from software. It is the 'I don't want a tripod on my desk' option: clips above the screen, diffuses nicely, and the TrueSoft panel is kinder to skin than a bare ring light.

👍 Strengths

  • Soft, flattering light with no visible ring
  • Mounts on the monitor — zero desk space
  • Software control of brightness and color

⚠️ Things to consider

  • Pricier per lumen than a ring light
  • One light only — shadows on one side unless you add a second
  • USB-powered; needs a free port

Who it's for

Desk-based creators doing webcam recordings or live sessions who value a tidy setup.
